Who we are

This site is operated by Betty and Mickey Corp, doing business as Rising Stars Music School, 18-84 Stanhope St, Ridgewood, NY 11385.

What we collect

This site doesn’t ask for your name or contact details. Booking a lesson or a school tour happens in our app at app.risingstars-musicschool.com, which has its own privacy policy covering what you enter there.

If you reach us by clicking a Google ad, we save that ad’s click ID (and the campaign tags in the link) in your browser for up to 90 days and pass it along when you open our booking app.

Google Ads

We advertise on Google, and our pages load Google’s ad tag. It sets cookies so Google can count visits that came from our ads, and it can add your browser to a list of people who visited our site, which we may use to show you our ads again on Google. If you book a tour or a lesson after clicking one of our ads, we tell Google that the click led to a booking, using only the click ID. We never send Google your name, email, or phone number.

You can turn off personalized ads at myadcenter.google.com.

How we use it

To see which ads bring families to the school, so we spend less on the ones that don’t. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t give our customer or contact lists to advertisers.

Who else sees it

Vercel hosts this site, and Google runs the ad tag described above. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we have, change it, or delete it. Email sean@risingstars-musicschool.com and we’ll handle it within a few business days.

Cookies

We store the Google ad click ID in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage, and Google’s ad tag sets its own advertising cookies. We don’t run any other analytics or tracking on this site.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. Significant changes get a heads-up via email if you’re already a student.
